Cricklade calls itself the first town on the Thames, and the river really is barely a stream as it slips past North Meadow. We are about 14 miles away in Faringdon, so the SN6 run to Cricklade, Latton, Ashton Keynes, Leigh and Purton Stoke is an easy one for us. This is a town that turns out properly for a do, and we keep the van loaded accordingly.
